About The Quiz Show
Who we are, what is in the game, how the question bank was built, and why the amounts on screen are not real money.
The Quiz Show is a free trivia game show that runs in the browser and on mobile. The idea is simple: fifteen questions, a rising prize ladder, three lives — and a virtual million at the end of the road. You do not have to register to play, there is nothing to pay, and at no point are you asked for a card.
What is in the game
- Three game modes: Solo, Head to Head against another player, and System Challenge against a computer opponent.
- Three difficulty levels — Easy, Medium and Hard — chosen before every Solo game and System Challenge.
- 26 content categories, from science and geography to film, sport and celebrity news.
- 90 achievements across three tiers: medals, trophies and crowns, each with its own 3D win animation.
- A global leaderboard and a player profile with shelves of the achievements you have earned.
- Four lifelines in Solo play: 50:50, phone a friend, ask the audience, and swap the question.
The question bank
The bank holds more than 14,000 active questions, built in waves and put through both automated and manual quality control: phrasing clean-up, semantic duplicate filtering (two questions that ask the same thing in different words count as duplicates, and one of them is disabled), and a difficulty tag on every row. A question you have already been shown never comes back — not in another game, not in another mode, not on another device — until you have exhausted the whole bank.
Languages
The interface and the question bank are available in Hebrew, English and Arabic. Hebrew and Arabic render right-to-left, English left-to-right, and every screen is checked in both directions. You can switch language from anywhere in the game without losing your progress.
The amounts are not real money
Every amount in the game — from $1,000 to $1,000,000 — is virtual points for the fun of the game only. They have no monetary value, they cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, converted or traded, and the game is not gambling and awards no cash prize. There are no in-app purchases.
Who is behind it
The Quiz Show is operated by Yossi Davidov. It is an independent project: the question bank, the engine, the design and the animations were all built from scratch. The game is funded by advertising — ads appear on content screens only, never inside a live game, so they can never cover an answer button or break a running timer.
