Request Account & Data Deletion
Delete your The Quiz Show account and all associated data: what is deleted, what may remain, how long it takes and how to send the request.
You can ask us to delete your The Quiz Show account and all data associated with it at any time, without giving a reason. Send the form on this page from the same email address you registered with, and we will handle it.
What is deleted
- The user account and sign-in credentials (email and password, or the linked Google account).
- The profile: username, profile photo and language preference.
- All game results, statistics and accumulated winnings.
- Every achievement earned — medals, trophies and crowns.
- Your record on the leaderboard and in public profiles.
- The history of questions already shown to you.
- Messages you sent through the contact form, insofar as they are linked to the account.
What may remain
- Aggregate, anonymous records that cannot identify you (for example a total game count, or Google Analytics usage metrics).
- Data we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires.
- Operational backups, which are erased on the normal backup cycle and are not used to restore the account.
Timeline
We acknowledge the request within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving it. If we need to verify that the request came from the account holder, we will contact you at the email address the request was sent from.
Before you send
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no way to restore the account, the achievements or your leaderboard position afterwards, and registering again with the same email opens a new, empty account. If you simply want to stop playing, you do not have to delete anything — just sign out.
Alternative route
If the form does not work for you, send the same request from inside the app — "More" menu → "Contact Us" — and open the message with the words "account deletion request". The handling and the timeline are identical.
